Cover Crop and No-Till Day

Event Details:

• Speakers include Winneshiek County farmer Jake Groth, ISU Agronomy Professor Rick Cruse and Upper Iowa Watershed Project coordinator Matt Frana.
• Jake will share his experiences with different cover crop species and his family’s transition to no-till. 
• Rick will discuss the importance of soil conservation and highlight certain practices that can encourage soil health.
• Matt will provide an overview of the Upper Iowa Watershed Project and share ways to get involved.
